Neuroeconomics and Caring Economics

Neuroeconomics and Caring Economics

Our interest in studying human cooperation and social decision-making overlaps with the field of neuro-economy. The main focus is here on how psychological and neuroscientific knowledge about human motivation, emotion and social cognition influences economic models of decision making in order to tackle problems of modern global economies. In the context of a project on "Caring Economics", we cooperate with Prof. Dennis Snower, president of the Kiel institute for the World Economy.
